Andrew Peterman is in his 21st year in education at Indian Prairie School District 204. Andrew has served as a Teacher, Coach, and Educational Specialist before joining the District-level Administrative team. He currently serves as Assistant Director for Technology Services. As a teacher, Andrew was recognized as Most Influential Staff Member by the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation. Additionally, as a teacher, Andrew has participated on numerous curriculum and technology committees. As an Educational Specialist and Assistant Director, Andrew leads the District’s Gradebook Committee. As Assistant Director, Andrew provides leadership and support to MIS (Data) Team members when providing services, which include maintaining web-based digital learning resources, enterprise applications (including the student information system), and middleware integrations. Additionally, Andrew has been a presenter at several events on the topics of 1:1/BYOD Implementation, Data Security & Privacy, Technology Visioning and Planning, and Identity Automation & Single Sign-On Implementation. Recent events include ISTE (2018), Illinois Computing Educators (ICE) (2018) and CoSN (2019). Andrew holds his undergraduate degree in education with a minor in computer science from Michigan State University and a Master's degree from Aurora University in Educational Leadership. In addition, he received his administrative credentials while earning his Master's degree at Aurora University.
