Jeff has taught Spanish for 24 years and is in his 18th year at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). In the 2015/16 school year, Jeff was the Technology Integration Specialist at ETHS for a five month period covering a leave of one of ETHS’ Technology Integration Specialists. He is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and has presented numerous EdTech sessions in the ETHS professional development program. At NICE MiniCon and ICE18 he has presented sessions supporting differentiation and disciplinary literacy with EdTech tools as well as sessions about the ETHS ChromeZone (a student run Chromebook repair and loaner program). He is a native Spanish speaker and has taught levels 1-4 as well as five years of middle school Spanish. He was born and raised in Chicago (Logan Square) and he and his wife raise their four children in the Edgebrook neighborhood.
