This curriculum is different because students are NOT told what to do. While projects drive interest and models associate process and demonstrate goals, the larger learning impact is an iterative system of discovery. iPTL IGOPS is a method for directing inquiry. Each step in the inquiry is designed to provide redundant guiding questions that will help direct a student to Identify, Gather, Organize, Produce, & Share a personal interest. Learners appreciate a non-specific, open ended system of logic that accommodates personality and taste. While the system works handsomely with a stick and a tray of sand, iPTL _Slim_00 complements the discovery model by quantifying formative growth (learner: expectation, time, confidence) and embedding metacognitive strategies that foster rational thought, divergent discovery, omnidirectional logic, and autonomous correction within an entrepreneurial model.
