Personalizing Project Based Learning: Leveraging Technologies for Student Agency and Authenticity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Project-based learning has often been considered teacher-led: The teacher generates the topic/question(s) for all students, and then students have voice in the path and choice in the product. In this workshop, participants will experience student-driven project-based learning, where students not only have voice and choice, but also develop individualized questions so that students learn through their own interests and within their own struggle zones. After experiencing the process, teachers can implement this innovative practice in their own classrooms and provide their students with authentic learning tasks and authentic audiences. Participants will leave with a finished, published product.
