Technology Trends: Exploring how the 4C’s Foster an Innovative Classroom

Molly & Jenny will facilitate a presentation on current technology trends in the classroom. Guiding questions for our presentation include the following: What are the current emerging trends in education? With emerging technology trends, how do we create and facilitate a space for encouraging innovation and “failing forward” with our students and colleagues? Which trends and technologies will drive educational change and shape our future? Participants will walk away with new knowledge about a variety of technology trends in the classroom. Educators will gain information about different resources and technology that can be utilized in the classroom. Our goal is to provide learners with a digital toolbox that develops and enhances communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity skills.The technology trends discussed during our presentation will revolve around the 4C’s of education, the ISTE standards, and digital literacy.
