Learn about library events large and small that will create school and community wide excitement. We will share specific examples of how to engage and excite students of each age/grade level about reading and information literacy through opportunities to share their voices and learn with authentic audiences. Our examples include One Book One School, District Wide Book Trailer Festival, celebrations of unique facts, blogging about personal reading goals, Solar Awards, book clubs and Tournament of Books which all help the library becomes the center of action, interest and engagement throughout the school, district and community.
