Have you ever felt like you or your students are design-challenged? Do you want to learn how to create your own amazing visuals and see how design literacy extends into the classroom? Come examine basic design principles and put them into practice in this hands-on session. We will take a look at how to design a balanced visual, pair fonts effectively, create color schemes from scratch, and choose simple images that convey and extend meaning. All of these design principles will be explored from both the teacher and student perspective. Participants will leave with the resources necessary to help students become creative designers.
