In this session you will learn how schools can take advantage of the Open Educational Resources (OER) Movement and the Illinois Open Educational Resource (IOER) searchable database. This summer, educators from across the state participated in a tagging initiative and learning retreat. The goal of this initiative was to increase the number of standards-aligned and vetted resources in the system and work with educators to tag, curate, and evaluate resources in IOER. In this session you will learn about the results of this initiative and get a preview of the new features in IOER.
