Technology coaching can be an important and valuable part of the work of an instructional coach with teachers. How do you keep these sessions focused on transforming instructional practice? Change the focus of your technology coaching conversations from answering the question, “How do I use this technology?“ to “How do I leverage this technology?” This highly interactive session will ask participants to discuss and reflect on fictional instructional coaching scenarios. They will consider ways to engage teachers through questioning and coaching conversations in order to shift from a focus on technology tool tutorials toward a focus on how and why technology tools can transform instruction. This session is geared towards instructional coaches and instructional technology coaches.
