Do you have big ideas to have a STEAM Lab in your school? I did, three years ago. In this session, you will learn from my journey. We will discuss how a STEAM Lab builds student’s soft skills, interest in STEAM strands, and desire to be a lifelong learner. I will show you how to create a successful after school club, how to gain interest and buy-in within your school for designated STEAM time, and how to extend STEAM activities/challenges to cover ELA CCSS. If you are ready to board the STEAM train, this session is for you!
