Animate your Lessons to Dynamically Demonstrate Learning

iPads can help students demonstrate learning in ways never possible before. For example, students can learn about transparency as they animate a semi-transparent ghost over a photo, practice vocabulary by speaking through their artwork, explore reflection by creating their own digital hologram, write their future story as they put themselves on the cover of Newsweek, and assess their rotational symmetry by rotating their designs digitally. Let me fill your tool box with exciting and creative ideas to teach any content more dynamically. As a K-5 tech using art teacher, I have numerous ideas to share from digital animation, digital drawings, green screen effects, and beyond to help anyone looking for ways to energize students and add STEAM to your teaching.
