The field of brain research is in its golden age. It continues to produce insights about the human learning experience. This new knowledge is looking for a home in today's learning spaces, but it is struggling. This session is designed to translate the best of mind brain education research into practical steps that all teachers can use to support modern student learning. We have reached a time that having this knowledge and not using this knowledge is making us complicit in a system that doesn't support all kids. Having the time to read and analyze the best of the research in this area is never going to be a part of the professional learning for all teachers, but this session can be a huge step forward to grow classrooms, schools, and districts around next practices in learning.
