Explore the role of education in creating a generation of global citizens by implementing the sustainable development goals in your learning environments. Global Citizenship Education (GCED) is one of the strategic areas of UNESCO’s education sector and ISTE’s Global Professional Learning Network. The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable  Development, a category 1 research institute of UNESCO, has made significant progress in developing a suite of innovative pedagogies focusing on building the social-emotional competencies -- through the development of a curricula for middle and high school students, digital pedagogies –through the development of a digital game for SDGs, and an online platform that infuses analytics and artificial intelligence to support students and teachers. Gain new insights from on approaches to transforming education and learning systems around the world to create a new generation of global citizens.
