Jess Landes

Lincoln Elementary, Marion, Illinois
Jess Landes is a third grade teacher in Southern Illinois and has been teaching in the Marion Unit #2 School District for 15 years. Her teaching experiences have been in kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. This is her tenth year teaching third graders and she especially loves their enthusiasm for technology. Several years ago, Jess was asked to pilot the first 1:1 elementary classroom in her district with an iPad learning cart. This opportunity ignited a passion for educational technology that lead to her current pursuit of a Masters in Instructional Technology from SIUE. Jess and her husband Rob have three adult children (all in college right now) and they own a small nutrition store in Marion. Educational technology is a driving force in her classroom and career and she loves sharing this passion with both students and colleagues.
