Dr. Samuel Kwon is an Associate Professor of Educational Technology at Concordia University Chicago. He teaches graduate level courses on instructional design and the effective use of technology in the classroom. His research interests include the design of learning environments, using technology to support teaching and learning, urban school reform, science curriculum development, and educational software design. Prior to serving at Concordia, Dr. Kwon worked as a research professor at Northwestern University. He worked for over a decade in Chicago Public Schools on various school reform and technology integration initiatives while at Northwestern. He also brings a lot of technical expertise to his work, having earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
